Our Story
Denia Community Church was formed in 2018 to promote wholehearted love for God, sacrificial love among Christ’s disciples, and selfless love for others, which are the three great love commandments of the old and New Covenants (Matthew 22:36–40; John 13:34–35).
Denia was the nickname of Newton Rayzor’s wife Eugenia and is the official name for the neighborhood between I35E, I35W, 377, and Roselawn Drive, though this southern boundary is now extending south to 377. Six of the ten founders grew up in this neighborhood and still live here.
DCC is committed to loving well because God is love, because He loves us so well, and because without love we are nothing (1 John 4:7–11; 1 Corinthians 13:1–3).
